So yeah... there's not much to share this time. I've been having a couple of ideas for a new animated series I'm willing to work on just after I finish Chronicles of a Demon 4. Anyways here is a little preview of what's going on until now:

First blog post of the year... yeeeeeeeeah!!!! YEAH! Ok... I had a little time to post some updates about my project and general stupidity.

Anyways, I'm finally here at El Paso, TX again studying... and... working in some other projects besides animation and the developing of Chronicles of a Demon 4 and a new project in Spanish (Just Another Weekend Style) with the name of "Ioroman" (that's an "i" not an "L"). I'll be giving some other details eventually.

I have some stuff to share in this post... nothing really fancy but there has been some stuff around lately. First, I'm back at school taking cool classes which I hope I'll enjoy and definitely they'll help me a lot with my projects. I'll be taking an Audio Post-production for Film and Video class where I'll be asked for some video projects which I'll use to put and edit audio and of course they'll involve animation. So you can expect upcoming stuff related to my class uploaded to my YouTube Channel as well as COAD 4 trailers.

I'm also taking a web design class which I hope will help me to redesign the Just Another Weekend Site and create the new "Ioroman" site plus I'll be ending earning a certificate in Dreamweaver woot!

In other news, "Darkar" from Chronicles of a Demon became part of Jason Notter's (Artist Lost) "We Are Newgrounds" drawing... OMFG it's just AWESOME. I now consider myself his fan. I wanted to create a poster of this drawing so I could see it everyday and... well I just did it. It looks awesome and NO it is NOT for sale because besides Darkar I don't own any of the characters and of course it's not my work. So if you would like one... NO! HA!

And for the end of this post, I've decided to make a little fanart contest (and I say little 'cause funds are not that great). This is thanks to those great donors who have supported my projects with their very appreciated money. So I'm launching the first Darkar Company fanart contest. Merry Christmas NG! I'm pretty sure that more than the 99% of you had a better Xmas than me... even though I've been traveling a lot lately. It wasn't that bad, but to be honest I'd rather be in my house working with my stuff than spending Christmas with the people I gathered with. The 4th episode of Chronicles of a Demon is not advancing that much because of the lack of time. I've been trying to work with some backgrounds and the animation is a lot better now, but still there's been much time.

And everything is because of a couple of reasons. On December 13th I arrived to Mexico City (were I am from... well kinda... long story), and my plan was to work as much as possible on COAD 4, but I just got here to find out that my mom wanted to go to Cancùn, land of American springbreakers. I'd like to say that this trip was awesome... but i'd be lying. I rested A LOT that's for sure, but weather wasn't the best and the hotel was filled with... YES YOU GUESSED! Foreign tourists! Just like 4 more mexican families besides mine. WTF! 80% were people of the US, which is pretty annoying because I was some kind of amusement attraction for them: "OMG! A Mexican! Take a picture!"

Well YEAH ASSHOLE! You are in freaking MEXICO!

It was really awkward. Mainly when I got on the elevators. Surrounded by 7 blonde guys.

Not that I have a problem with you guys, actually I like US people a lot, but hey! I went to Mexico to be with Mexicans, not to recreate the US but now in the beach.

I must say that girls were just gorgeous though. ;)

NOT that I was doing something.... huh? Seriously... I love you froggy (that's for my girlfriend :P)

Just after arriving from Cancùn, I went to "Aguascalientes",MX (translated as "Hot Water") where I spent Xmas. BORING. My family does not like me. And I'm serious. They think I should do something else, like study medicine or something instead of making senseless cartoons. Well I don't give a SHIT.

I also went to "Zacatecas", MX (translated from the "Nauhatl" which means: Where grass is abundant). Very beautiful city, I enjoyed it a lot.

So yeah... from the 19th to 27th I've been doing nothing except getting bored, and I couldn't really work on my stuff. I want to finish everything before January 31st, but sometimes I think it'll be very difficult. :S

So here I am, in Mexico City while my break lasts and I'll be working hard with COAD 4. And now I leave wishing you a Merry Christmas and an awesome year.

Voices are mostly done now, I'm only missing Belial's voice which I REALLY HOPE it'll be in my computer soon. I can work with the beginning though.

I've been designing some backgrounds and characters plus storyboarding a little but I've been facing some troubles with the design of characters. It looks pretty good so far, but I don't 100% like the actual design so I'll be probably deleting some stuff and redoing it.

I got paper and pencil and drew some stuff which I think will help me A LOT!

Ok now to the news... yeeeeah... the 4th episode of Chronicles of a Demon is still on hold. I'm still waiting for the voices to begin the animation and I'm sure voice actors are doing their best (there's a bunch of work for everybody). So while I've been waiting, some stuff has been created.

I began building a forum for fans of COAD and JAW which purpose was to send a weekly newsletter to users about the development of my projects. So actually I just created it because of the newsletter. It was matter of days to realize that it was going to need a lot more work than just people registering and recieving periodical messages to their inbox. So after a lot of hours googling and investigatin ('caus I'm not really the programming type) I found a way to create a newsletter for all those interested in this news. Yaaay! Yeah... So the forum will not be released, at least for now because of lack of time. Of course help of some people to moderate and post news and stuff would really improve it... but still I think it'll have to wait.

Anyways, Darkar Company's newsletter is here and those who would like to join it just need to enter my website, and provide your e-mail address in the left column. And well, some days ago I was watching the newest episode of Family Guy and I almost died because of laughing so hard when I watched this:

For some other news, I want to add a new product for Darkar Company's Store and I've been thinking about adding GIANT posters. YAY! GIANT POSTERS! I made a giant poster for an art class project last year, and there was a lady who actually offered around 120 U.S. dls for it.(I couldn't find her again... and I feel stupid). It is NOT a paper poster, but a high resolution glossy mantle which production (at least in the U.S.) costs around 90 - 130 dls... WHAT?! Well I've got some contacts and I can do it a little bit cheaper, so I'll be offering my artwork in these for around 65 dls + shipping.

I am actually selling this one below for 65 dls plus shipping (for those interested) and I'll probably offer the printing service eventually... and... OH MY FUCKING GOD... my roommate is having sex in her room and she's screaming... AWKARD... gonna close the door... the door is now closed and I can still hear............ gonna put some music... yeeah so much better....

Ha, not really... I'm here to bring you the news about Chronicles of a Demon.

The voice actors are working with the lines. The script had cool changes by Sonicmega and as soon as the voices are here in my computer, I'll start the main animation.

The new intro is already done! There are new designs for the characters and a new version of the theme song which I haven't uploaded yet but... I will... eventually.

Well, I DID redesigned my website. I need to present an art portfolio in order to apply to different scholarships in a couple of Universities. Hopefully this is good enough to be considered. Please check it out and tell me what you think.

Hello Newgrounders! Auditions ended and voice actors are ready to work with the voices for the 4th episode of COAD. YEEEEAH!

So the roles are like this:

Belial (New Angel God) Mystic

The script turned out pretty good thanks to my friends Manny and Sonicmega who gave the final details. It has been already sent to all voice actors except Mystic 'cause we've been having some troubles with sending and receiving e-mail messages, but that's been fixed. :)

So while they do their magic, I'll keep animating the new intro and working with the new version of Angels Aren't That Good.

And those are the news right now... yeah. Not that exciting...

To justify the title of this post, my girlfriend created some Chronicles of a Demon figurines which I love. HA! They're not action figures but I find them quite awesome, they're already on top of my desk watching me. And I'm leaving a pic for you guys. (I love you "Mi Ranita" :P )

It's been a while since my last post. And well, good news for Chronicles of a Demon fans: I'm working already! Yeaaaah... I know it's been a while but hey! I'm here... I'm back... and doing my stuff.

Right now I'm working with the new version of Angels Aren't That Good. Because of popular demand, I'm making a more hardcore version of it. Right now I have just a simple base track which will be fixed by Digital Vibes and delivered in an awesome quality.

You can hear what I have so far by clicking here. Please tell me what you think. Again this is just a basic track. I'll submit it to the Audio Portal as soon as it's complete so you can download it.

Auditions for the new Angel God and Lexie (Darkar's Crush) have been done and there have been quite good voice actors! :) Hopefully will have our new crew by this Tuesday.

Finally, I released my new animation El Taco Hospital. Make sure to drop a review there. ;)

Anyways, I'll try to post weekly to throw a little advance for you guys.
